Privacy Policy

Last updated: 29 June 2026

This policy explains how Standbrook, registered in England and Wales ("Standbrook"), collects and uses your personal data when you shop at standbrook.com. We are the data controller and comply with UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018.

What we collect

How we use it

To process and deliver your orders, handle returns and refunds, provide support, and meet our legal and accounting obligations. Our lawful bases are performance of a contract, legitimate interests (running and securing the shop) and legal obligation (tax records).

Who we share it with

Only the providers that run our business: our payment processor (Viva.com) and our delivery carriers (so they can ship your parcel), each bound by their own data protection terms. We never sell your data.

Retention

We keep order and tax records for as long as required by UK law (generally six years). Support messages are kept only as long as needed.

Your rights

You can ask us to access, correct, delete or export your data, or object to processing. Email info@standbrook.com and we respond within one month. You may also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).

Cookies

We use only essential cookies needed for the shop and checkout to work, plus privacy friendly aggregate analytics. We do not use third party advertising cookies.
